Where the data comes from
The slot data underlying every page on this site comes from the slot.report public API — a free, CORS-enabled endpoint that aggregates technical data from 58 game studios. It updates weekly. We pull it client-side in real time, so what you see is the current state of the catalog, not a stale snapshot.
Specifically, every game in our database includes its certified RTP, volatility tier (Low through Extreme), maximum win multiplier, mechanic type (Megaways, cluster pays, tumbling reels, xWays, etc.), theme, grid size, bonus buy availability, release date, and bet range. All of this is sourced from the studio\u2019s published math sheet, which itself comes from the certifying lab\u2019s audit.
Editorial approach
The editorial copy on this site — provider profiles, guide articles, blog posts — is written from a research perspective, not a marketing one. We do not receive affiliate revenue from operators, we do not run "best casino" lists, and we do not rank slots by which studios pay us the most. The goal is to help you understand the math behind what you\u2019re playing.
That means we will tell you when a Bonus Buy is mathematically not worth the cost, when a "97% RTP" headline is hiding a 92% variant your operator is actually running, and when a streamer-favorite extreme-volatility slot will eat your bankroll faster than the cash games.
